It's time for an update on the store and everything! Life just seems to fly by and there's just so much to share.
We've had a lot of changes in the store and in our lives...
We said goodbye to our house a few weeks ago and it's been a hard one...Read More
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday, the sisters sure are!
We are spending this Memorial Day at the lake.
Its your turn. Lets Talk! What are you doing today?
The Sister's helped give a cocktail party for a dear friend that is getting married on Friday evening. The venue was the Arkansas Art's Center. It's a wonderful venue to host a party with one downfall...we could not even get in to begin set up until 4:00 and the party started at 7:00.
We had an army of volunteers to help...or it just would not have happened. The tables weren't even set to start decorating until 5:00. Yikes!
But didn't they turn out lovely?
We centered large silver candelabras on each table. We added potted double bloom floral azaleas in soft pink, white snap dragons, angelonia and fresh ivy. Then we mossed around everything to cover the pots.
Small birdcage votives (which we sell in our store) click here to purchase were filled with astromeria lillys rather than candles and placed around the centerpiece.
We did a similar centerpiece with an iron candelabra and colorful potted bulbs for an outdoor dinner party earlier in the Spring...it had an entirely different look.
In the fall you could do something like this with potted mums, pansies and pumpkins...
For the holidays add poinsetias and fresh greens and pine cones.
Easy and beautiful.
Friday evening we all quickly changed in the bathroom after set up just in time to greet our guests and thoroughly enjoyed the party. It was so fun pulling it all together with our friends!
It's wedding season. Do you have any parties to plan?
It's your turn. Let's talk!
The sisters just love a party and we are always searching for that perfect birthday, shower or hostess gift...one that leaves a loving impression...
We helped give a couple's shower this weekend and received the most fabulous hostess gift...
A gorgeous footed glass bowl with a scripture etched around the top from Wisteria. Elegant for food, display pieces, or a candle, this footed glass bowl makes a wonderful centerpiece.
The bowl I received says...
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so you may have entertained angels..
Other scriptures are available. You can click here to order.from Wisteria.
It's so fun to entertain and we love being a part of celebrations in honor of those that we love. This was a very thoughtful and creative gift that we just had to share...
Are you often at a loss for that perfect gift to thank someone for doing something special for you? We think this would make the perfect gift.
