TableScape for Winter / New Years Eve
Christmas is over and the new year is ahead...you start to change up the decorations… it’s getting colder and it’s time to enjoy the winter until March. The in between Christmas and end of winter is a time to think of what makes winter beautiful… Lets dream of a gorgeous winter tablescape together.. when you think Winter you automatically visualize lush snowy whites, dark forest greens, warm cinnamon browns and the brightness of an inviting fire.
Picking your Place Setting
Instead of a typical “All white” Place setting we added in some warm features …. this classic Platter by Kate Spade isn’t just a seasonal piece - the subtle leaf detailing gives it the illusion that no matter what you put with it… it’ll be a great base. Textured jute placemats layered with gold chargers on top..
We had pops of red in our table setting with red roses and berries. When I think winter… I think shades of Berry..
We created some “Sparkle” with these crystal prism tapered candelabras… I mean.. how fabulous are these?
There’s nothing better than lit tapered candles at a dinner setting…it adds the warmth of a fire. We have the candelabras from this shoot in the store but not on the website..You can contact us for more details. I found some shorter ones that are similar on Chairish. We needed ours to be a even taller so we added lucite risers for height.
Adding the warmth of a fire…
When we were at Round Top a while back we found this Antique Dining table... The top of this table is parquet so we just couldn’t cover that beautiful detailing - instead we used a skirt to add softness. The same way you’d use a table cloth. It has velcro on the edges to attach it to the table. We just love entertaining…
I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas.
Enjoy these precious moments with family and friends…
Anxious to see what 2019 brings…
Happy New Years to all
of our friends.
It’s your turn! Lets talk!
