We can’t believe it’s been 5 years since our store opened!!!
It was a really scary jump from when we first started at Fabulous Finds…we had antique booths and were working with clients out of our homes. Once we finally took the jump to open a store it has been so rewarding… our clients are amazing and we love meeting new people in the store that often become regulars and new friends…we couldn’t be more happy and grateful for all of you…Read More
Mona came up with the idea to post on things, just for fun. She envisions them to be anything from restaurant reviews, to travel destinations, to the latest gadgets out there. I will be writing the posts in an attmept to bring her vision to light.
My name is Zac Woodiel and I have the pleasure to work for "The Sisters". Providence Design couldn't be a more perfect place to work, and I have such a great time working with the girls and learning from them. Thats why Im so excited that I will be doing the Just For Fun posts, and what a better day to have some fun than a Saturday? Saturdays are supposed to be a day for us to take time away from work and just have fun, right?
Wednesday night I had dinner at a new restaurant in downtown Little Rock called Three Fold Noodles and Dumpling Company. They just opened this month and feature handmade dumplings, freshly steamed buns, and great noodles. They are located on Center Street... inside an old bank, where the original safe is still visible.
My three friends and I were totally impressed! The menu is small but once you taste the food you don't mind. It is so good!
We tried the dumplings and the noodles, and I cant say I have a favorite. They both were equally delicious. You have the option to add traditional asian condiments so we opted for spicy. Great decision! The dumplings are made fresh daily filled with your choice of chicken, pork, or vegetarian, and the noodles have the same protein option.
You must try the Taro Chips! They were a real standout. They fall somewhere between salty and sweet, and we found ourselves finishing two bags!
If you enjoy asian noodles and dumplings I definitely recommend Three Fold. So delicious and just the kind of place Little Rock needed. Great lunch spot as well.
I am super excited about the Just For Fun posts and really look forward to feedback from the followers.
Hope you enjoy them, after all it is Just For Fun!
What do you think? Until next week, Zac
We have been loving the look of porcelain tiles that look like wide plank distressed wood for a while now. We are excited to finally be working on a project to use this product. It's the perfect application for a lake house.
Our project is a re-model on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Will be so happy to see the fake travertine tile come up and these beautiful floors go down...
The tile we have chosen looks like a limed gray oak...
We've put together some inspiration boards for our clients and we are busy making decisions...
We will choose either brilliant white quartzite which looks like marble or a white or grey quartz for the countertops. Silestone Lagoon or Grey Expo.
Cabinet materials still to be determined...Will we do a natural wood cabinet that blends well with the floor or painted cabinets? Or possibly a natural wood island...and paint the rest of the cabinets?
Our over all paint color is Benjamin White Dove...and we like Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray for accent...
We will add color, interest and a lot of fun with oversized Modern Art...
Getting the lighting just right will be very important...
I can feel it all coming together...
Now we just have to execute...
It's your turn. Let's Talk!
