David Michael Miller

Sad but true...

I just don't focus as well any more...so much going on that I often just turn in circles...

Sister has to turn me back around...and so goes with blogging...just have to squeeze a post in when we can...but I stumbled on to a new designer to "us"...(you may know all about him)...and we are overwhelmed with his work...

We want to study every image and take in every detail..

Let me introduce you to David Michael Miller...

No need for a lot of commentary...his work speaks for itself...it speaks volumes...

I know we have seen and pinned some of his work in the past without ever taking the time to see who the talent was behind the image and explore just how vast his portfolio really is...

We haven't even begun to show you all of his work...click here to view his complete portfolio...

It's been a fun and  relaxing weekend...

I guess  the reunion just put a pep back in my step and I've enjoyed gearing up for the next few weeks...

We have a LOT going on...

We are working with someone who is completely revamping our site and store...hopefully that will be launching sometime in October...This is all getting ready to change and we are beyond excited...

Online design has become an important part of our business...in fact we have one project in Houston that has grown to the point that we will be going there for the install on September 5th. We can't wait to share the reveal with you...

There has been a TON of back and forth...and lot's of decsions to be made leading up to this day...

Going to do a wall of mirrors out of some of these old frames...

There are 245 images in this clients file that have been sent over the course of the past few months...We have considered every detail and have given the client multiple choices...

Lot's of work in various stages in Little Rock too...

This home has been from the ground up...the clients have moved in and we are close to a finish.

And that's just to share a few things that we're working on...

It's all so much fun...

We really love what we do...We also love to eat...so we can't wait for you to try this easy, but delicious chicken recipe...

Garlic Pesto Chicken With Pasta

tumblr_m0ftwwOrSG1qma8fzo1_500 (1).png

1/2 bottle of lawrys Herb and Garlic Marinade

2 large spoonfuls of Pesto

2 boneless chicken breasts

Cut chicken into one inch strips. Using same knife make slits into chicken. Pour lawrys marinade and pesto over chicken. Marinate over night.

Sauce:

8 ounces of your choice of pasta (I used whole wheat penne)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

3 cloves of garlic

2 spoonfuls of pesto

1/2 cup of chicken broth

8 ounces of tomato sauce

1 cup of half and half

Boil water and start on noodles. Pour entire batch of chicken, marinade and all, into skillet and cook chicken fully (the marinade will evaporate/cook down) Heat olive oil, cook garlic. Add pesto. Simmer in chicken broth until half has cooked down. Add tomato sauce. Then add milk. Simmer for 5 minutes. Toss pasta in. Add flour if it needs to be thickened. Place chicken on top.

The table is all set...In love with the 4 straw baskets on the wall...

It's Friday and it's Fabulous...Thanks to At Home in Arkansas Magazine

The November issue of At Home in Arkansas has been mailed.  Have you received yours yet?

Image (234).jpgAt Home cover.jpg

We recently teamed with Bill Parkinson, owner of Parkinson Building Group, to design and decorate his personal family residence.  We are thrilled to have this beautiful home featured in the November issue.

I apologize for my poor scans...just a couple of peaks today.  We'll do a full post next week with the entire feature as well as additional images Bill's  photographer took following the shoot.  We may even share a few before and afters...your gonna love this house.

A shot of the gallery with groined vault ceiling that connects the family and private areas of the house...

Check back next week..we've got gorgeous images and lots of details through out the house to share.

Have a great weekend.
