Spring Cartwheels

Barbara from Haus Design paid us a very nice compliment last week - she awarded us the Stylish Blogger Award! We are so honored! Please check out her blog  right away if you haven't already. She has great style and writes a fantastic blog.

Barbara, thank you so much!

To accept the award,  we are supposed to reveal seven things about ourselves. We've recently done that here and here, so I thought we'd reveal seven things we're doing cart wheels over right now instead...

1.  Beautiful Outdoor Spaces.  We're doing a post with some fabulous inspiration for these later this week.

2.  Fabulous Gardens.  We've been talking about these non-stop.  We've partnered with a couple of very talented people to show you plans for some amazing transformations later in the month.

3.  Bright Colors.  We're so ready to infuse The Colors of Spring into our lives.  Think Pink, (Click here), Think Orange, (Click here), and next up Think Green.

4.  Planning For Easter Brunch is a real treat.   I'm never happier than when the entire family is together in our home.  Not the craftiest person in the world but I've already bought the supplies and just have to try this.

5.  A new Spring wardrobe is an absolute must right now.  On the prowl for great white blazer.  Have you got any suggestions?

6.  Sister and I are way behind on the whole Spring Cleaning , organizing thing.  It seems there is ALWAYS something else we would rather do.  Just found these fun colorful file folders here.  Maybe they will inspire us to get to work on our offices.

7.  Last but not least, we're so ready to fire up the grill.  Just bought this book and have plans to grill through it this Summer.  We'll be sure to share the results on Sunday Suppers.

Now the fun part.  We are to pass this award along to ten blogs that we have recently found to be very Stylish...

1.   A Thoughtful Eye

2.  Jimmy The Undercover Designer

3.  Classic Casual Home

4.  Design in the Woods

5.  Ada and Darcy

6.  Luxe and Lucid

7.  Stacy Edwards Blog: Inspired by Life

8.  What's Up Whimsy

9.  Martineau Vermillion The Blog

10.  Velvet Moss

You need to check these sites out when you get the chance.  I promise it is worth your time.

And if you have just a second, you know it's your turn.  What has you doing cartwheels for Spring?

 It's your turn.  Let's talk!

Did you notice???

How just a touch of orange says a whole lot?...Black and white really sets it off?...Orange can be either Modern or Traditional?...Orange looks fantastic paired with gray and grungy old shutters?...Actually orange pairs well with lots of colors...pink?...purple?...yellow?...Orange is a little edgier than red?  Orange is warm and rich for Fall yet cool and crisp for Spring!

How about you?  Can you do orange?

  It's your turn.  Let's talk!

It's Friday, It's Fabulous...And It's Red Hot!

Red symbolizes action, confidence, courage and vitality.  Red is the warmest of colors and is the color chosen most by extroverts.  Put some red in your life when you want increased enthusiasm and interest...

Red can also be very Modern, Fun and Sassy...
